Huehueteotl

(1) Old Aztec god, keeper of the flame.
(2) Often depicted with a bowl on his head
(3) Every 52 years, the Aztec century would end. The god's would need sacrifices to start another 52 years.
(4) Aztec priests would toss victims into a burning bonfire and Huehueteotl would be happy to grant Aztec's another 52 years.
