Xipe Totec

(1) In nahutal, his name means "our lord the flayed one". He received this name before he flayed his skin to feed his people. This skin is symbolic of the traditional mexican food, Maize or corn.
(2) Was a life, and rebirth god
(3) God of the seasons, goldsmiths, disease, spring, and the west
(4) Was sacrificed to, the person would have there skin carefully "flayed". The priest conducting this ceremony would then wear the skin. This was supposed to be a fertility blessing.
